GST Council Likely To Take Up Infosys Case On Sept 9

THE government is trying its best to address the issue of goods and services tax (GST) under the reverse charge mechanism for import of services in the upcoming GST Council meet to be held on September 9, sources privy to the matter told TNIE.

The Council's decision is expected to give major relief to the stakeholders such as Infosys, foreign airlines and international shipping companies.
