ANGEETHA Gnanamu is the newest rasika-driven movement to arrive on the cultural and art scene this music season.

It was initially conceived by six childhood friends who wanted to bring authentic information regarding Bharatiya art forms and their connection with spirituality back into popular discourse and to not focus on individuals or institutions who may be trying to do otherwise. This idea, rooted as it is in positivity, has attracted Carnatic music aficionados as well as people with no fine arts background to join hands with two of the founders—Palghat Ramprasad and Raghavan Ramabadran—who are now core members of the initiative.
The spirit and involvement of the members is evident in the significant strides taken by Sangeetha Gnanamu in just a few months of its existence. A few of their very visible offerings for the public this December music festival include:
