Visakhapatnam to Organise Yoga Session Tomorrow as Precursor to Yoga Day Event

A yoga session featuring 500 participants will be held on the coast of RK Beach in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday, May 21, as part of the prelude to International Yoga Day celebrations scheduled for June 21.
"The event aims to raise awareness among the public and mark the beginning of a series of programmes being planned across the district in the lead-up to the main celebrations," stated Visakhapatnam Collector MN Harendhira Prasad. He said elaborate arrangements are being made across the district for the International Yoga Day celebrations on June 21 and that suitable venues have been identified and preparatory processes are in progress.
