VISAKHAPATNAM Mayor Peela Srinivasa Rao undertook a comprehensive inspection of the 93rd Ward on Friday, focusing on key areas including Krishna Nagar, Virat Nagar, and Prahladapuram in Zone 8.
Emphasising the need for improved sanitation, Mayor Rao instructed Chief Medical Officer Dr ENV Naresh Kumar to restructure sanitation worker deployment to ensure cleanliness during both day and night shifts.
Taking note of damaged roads and deteriorated drainage systems, he ordered engineering staff to prepare repair estimates and formulate proposals for road widening, urging public cooperation for implementation.
