A Red Rally in Visakhapatnam on Thursday marked the centenary celebrations of the Communist Party of India (CPI).
The rally, held to commemorate the CPI's 99 years and the beginning of its centenary celebrations, saw party cadres and public organisation leaders come together in solidarity.
CPI State Assistant Secretary, JV Satyanarayana Murthy, addressed the rally, urging party members to prepare for struggles to protect democracy and secularism in India, drawing inspiration from the party's long history of resistance.
