YSRCP MLC and Women's Wing president Varudu Kalyani accused the TDP-led NDA government of orchestrating a ₹254 crore embezzlement in a women's skill development programme disguised as training in tailoring.
Speaking at the YSRCP central office in Tadepalli on Tuesday, she alleged that the government inflated the training cost from ₹7,300 to ₹23,000 per woman, and misappropriated ₹15,700 per beneficiary.
