Temple Land Issue: Pondy Cong MLAs to Meet Prez to Demand CBI Probe

A delegation of Puducherry Congress legislators in Delhi has leveled serious corruption allegations against the AINRC-BJP government in the Union Territory, questioning the BJP's commitment to protecting temple properties.
This comes after BJP MLA, John Kumar was awarded ministership, who along with his son, Vivilian Richards had allegedly attempted to usurp large volumes of temple land through forged documents in Puducherry.
The high-level delegation led by Puducherry Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) President and Lok Sabha member V Vaithilingam, along with former Chief Minister V Narayanasamy, party MLAs, ex-ministers and senior leaders, will meet President Droupadi Murmu and submit a memorandum seeking a CBI probe into multiple corruption charges.
