Lokpal paves way for CBI charge sheet against MP in cash-for-query case

THE Lokpal has granted its nod to the CBI to file a chargesheet against Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra within four weeks for her involvement in a cash-for-query case.
Following the approval, the CBI has initiated legal process against the MP representing the Krishnanagar constituency in Nadia district in West Bengal. On November 12, a full bench of the Lokpal held a meeting and decided to allow the probe agency to submit the chargesheet in the relevant court.
