FORMER India captain and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar was honoured with the Col. CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award at the BCCI annual awards in Mumbai on Saturday.
ICC Chair Jay Shah handed the highest honour in the BCCI annual awards to Tendulkar as achievers across men and women in all age-group for the 2024 year was felicitated at the function. Tendulkar, who retired in 2013, had won the highest civilian honour for an Indian Bharat Ratna in the same year. A legend of the sport, the 51-year-old played 200 Tests, 463 ODIs and one T20I for India, and went on to score more than 34,000 runs across formats.
