The New Indian Express Vijayawada
|November 04, 2025
IN what could trigger a political storm within the Congress, senior leader Shashi Tharoor has come out against dynasty politics, terming it a grave threat to democracy.
In a recent article, that may not go down well with the Gandhi family, he denounced dynastic politics, and called upon the nation to trade dynasty for meritocracy.
The strongly-worded article from the Thiruvananthapuram MP has come just days after he was accommodated into the newly formed core committee to oversee the party's activities in the Kerala assembly polls.
