Three District Managers of Tasmac Booked
The New Indian Express Vellore
|January 18, 2025
THREE district managers of state-owned Tasmac have been booked recently by the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) after it was found that a supervisor in a retail outlet of Tiruvannamalai allegedly misappropriated ₹46 lakh from the daily earnings from July 2016 to March 2018.
The FIR indicates how the supervisor would deposit a few lakhs of rupees less than the counter earnings from the sale of alcohol in the state government's bank account.
