Bomb threats target Pondy CM's residence

A series of bomb threats targeting the residence of Chief Minister N Rangasamy and two prominent star hotels in the city turned out to be hoaxes, police said on Saturday.
The Chief Minister's Office and the Director General of Police (DGP) received bomb threats via email, prompting an immediate response from the Cyber Crime Police, Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad, and sniffer dog units along with fire service personnel.
