YSRCP Keen to Retain ZP Chief Post

The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) is working to retain the Kadapa Zilla Parishad Chairman post after the State government issued a notification for the election.
The post has remained vacant since former chairman Akeapati Amarnath Reddy was elected as the Rajampet MLA, with Jesthadi Sharada serving as in-charge chairperson for the past nine months.
The YSRCP has nominated Brahmamgarimatham ZPTC member Ramagovind Reddy for the election, scheduled for March 27.
