THE Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Board has introduced a new policy requiring employees practicing non-Hindu religions to either opt for voluntary retirement (VRS) with an attractive package or transfer to other government departments.
The move, which aims to preserve the institution's adherence to traditional Hindu dharma, was guided by TTD Board Chairperson B.R. Naidu.
