Kadiri Narasimha temple chariot procession draws lakh of devotees

THE Brahma Ratham procession of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Kadiri, Sri Sathya Sai district, was held on Thursday as part of the 15-day annual Brahmotsavam, drawing lakhs of devotees.
The procession began at 9.15 am, with the deity, accompanied by Sri Devi and Bhu Devi, taken out on the massive Brahma Ratham. Priests conducted rituals at the Alankara Mandapam before placing the deity on the chariot. The chariot, one of the largest in the country, weighs 540 tonnes and stands 37.5 feet high.
