- K.EZHILARASAN @ CHENNAI

TAKING strong exception to the passage of the Waqf Bill in the Lok Sabha, Chief Minister and DMK president M K Stalin on Thursday told the Tamil Nadu Assembly that DMK would file a case in the Supreme Court against the bill.

Wearing black badge in protest, Stalin said the bill would destroy the autonomy of Waqf boards and threaten the Muslim community. "Tamil Nadu will fight against it and Tamil Nadu will win. We will prevent the bill through legal measures," the CM said.
