Review meet held for arrangement of temple consecration

DISTRICT Collector A K Kamal Kishore held a review meeting with officials from various departments at the district collectorate to discuss the arrangements for the consecration (kumbabhishekam) of the Kasi Viswanathar Temple, which is scheduled to be held between 9 am and 10 am on Monday.
In a statement, Kishore said elaborate arrangements have been made for the smooth conduct of the ceremony. "Barricades and security arrangements have been put in place at the Rajagopuram, Swami Sannidhi, and Ambal Sannidhi for 'ubayatharars' and VIPs to watch the rituals. A queue system has also been planned inside the temple for devotees to have darshan and exit. Drinking water facilities will be available at key spots, and drone technology will be used to sprinkle holy water on devotees standing in and around the temple premises, including the four car streets.
