Couple arrested for cheating woman, running off with her 5.5-sovereign thali

TIRUCHENDUR police arrested a couple from Sulaivaikal following a cheating complaint in the pretext of performing a ritual and making away with 5.5 sovereigns of gold thali.
The suspects have been identified as Vijay (28) and Vimala (27) of Sulaivaikal near Eral. Police said the duo visited the house of the complainant, N Bagavathi of Paramankurichi Kaspa ne
