Man murders wife and her partner, surrenders at jail with severed heads

IN a gruesome double murder, a man allegedly killed his wife and her suspected partner, beheaded their bodies at Malaikottalam village in Kallakurichi district in the wee hours of Thursday, and surrendered at Vellore Central Prison with the severed heads in a bag, later in the day.
The incident came to light after the residents alerted the Kallakurichi police after the headless bodies were on the terrace of a house in the village in the early hours of Thursday.
