Government Eases Rules Under Biomass Programme; Cuts Down Paperwork

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has announced comprehensive revisions to its Biomass Programme that includes cutting down on paperwork and easing approval requirements for biomass projects and others.
The ministry, in a press note, said that these changes are aiming to simplify processes, enhance operational flexibility, and provide robust financial incentives, particularly for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
