AIR India's Boeing 777 flight from San Francisco to Bengaluru via Kolkata turned into a nightmare for nearly 300 flyers aboard on July 21, sources said. It took off eight hours behind schedule due to an inoperative main door in the Business Class section. The crew were allegedly repeatedly misinforming the passengers that the aircraft was undergoing cleaning all this time.
