CAPTAIN Ajay Singh Yadav, the national chairman of Other Backward Class (OBC) department of the All India Congress Committee (AICC), has demanded that socio-economic caste census (SECC) be implemented in Kerala.

He was speaking after inaugurating the "Constitution Protection Conference" organised by the Kerala Pradesh OBC Department State Committee in Palakkad on Saturday.

Urging the Congress workers to organise protest programmes in this regard, Yadav said that only a caste census would ensure social justice to every Indian citizen.
