Kundara train sabotage attempt: Police look into conspiracy angle

INVESTIGATION into the Kundara railway track sabotage case has been intensified, with the police having been granted custody of the accused by the court for further interrogation.
Authorities are analysing their phone records, bank transactions and social connections to uncover potential links to a larger conspiracy.
Additionally, details of passengers aboard the Palaruvi Express during the incident are being examined as part of the probe. The case has drawn the attention of central agencies, including the National Investigation Agency (NIA), the Railway Protection Force (RPF), and the Madurai Division Crime Branch. The FIR has officially classified the incident as an attempted train derailment, highlighting the severity of the crime.
