Bhatti presents Budget of ₹3.04 lakh cr for 2025-26 fiscal year; 35% of funds dedicated for welfare
FOLLOWING the Budget presentation by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka in the Assembly on Wednesday, the allocations indicated that the government has dedicated more than 35% of funds for welfare and ongoing schemes, along with the introduction of a few new schemes.
The ruling Congress presented a Budget of ₹3.04 lakh crore for the 2025-26 fiscal year, with a majority share ₹1.04 lakh crore allocated for welfare and other schemes promised during the Assembly elections.
