Centre, State will save aqua farmers amid US tariff crisis: Union Min

UNION Minister B Srinivasa Varma and 20-Point Programme Chairman Lanka Dinakar on Thursday assured aqua farmers that both the State and Centre would safeguard their interests in the wake of the crisis triggered by adverse US tariffs.
They said a report would soon be submitted to the State and Central governments to provide relief measures and formulate future plans for aqua farmers. The leaders, along with West Godavari Collector C Nagarani, reviewed the implementation of schemes and projects in the district at Bhimavaram.
