MP seeks Eklavya residential school in Chitradurga dist

MP Govind M Karjol said on Tuesday that he has requested the deputy commissioner to identify 15 acres of land for setting up an Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) in Chitradurga district.
In a letter submitted to Union Minister of Tribal Affairs Jual Oram, Govind Karjol said that, "Chitradurga district, particularly Challakere taluk, is one of the most underdeveloped regions in Karnataka both developmentally and academically.
