ALLEGING large-scale irregularities involved in the recruitment of personnel for various posts in the Chitradurga Institute of Medical Sciences, the members of the Karnataka State Madiga Yuva Sene on Tuesday urged the state government to suspend and sack the director of the institute, Yuvaraj.
In the memorandum submitted to the state government through the district administration, they alleged that corruption to the tune of multiple lakhs of rupees had taken place while recruiting doctors and teaching staff for the institute, and that all the rules had been flouted by Yuvaraj.
