Cultivate reflective thinking in law: Judge tells aspiring lawyers

JUSTICE E S Indiresh of the Karnataka High Court called upon aspiring lawyers to develop reflective thinking by analysing cases from diverse perspectives, saying it is essential for success in the legal profession.
He was addressing the gathering after inaugurating a Graduation Day event organised by C Bhimsen Rao Law College at Ambedkar Bhavan here recently. Justice Indiresh said a lawyer's true journey begins after earning a degree.
"Skills such as writing, presentation, vocabulary, and interpretation are critical in this field," Justice Indiresh said. "Spend ample time in court, discuss laws and cases with senior advocates, and gain practical experience. True knowledge comes from life experiences."
