UNION Tribal Affairs Minister and Sundargarh MP Jual Oram, a Y-category protectee, reportedly disappeared mysteriously from Gondwana Express while travelling from Delhi and reappeared hours later in another train at Sihora railway station with minor injuries in the wee hours of Sunday.
As rumours spread quickly about his safety and well-being, Jual on Tuesday said he was perfectly fine while authorities of the Jabalpur division of West Central Railway (WCR) clarified the union minister got down from Gondwana Express at Damoh station and was subsequently helped to board the Sampark Kranti Express.
His close aides said Jual had got down after feeling uncomfortable due to a drastic drop in his blood sugar level. Reliable sources informed that the minister boarded Gondwana Express at Hazrat Nizamuddin station for Jabalpur on Saturday night. When the train left Damoh station at around 3.45 am on Sunday, the union minister was not seen on his berth or in the train, triggering concern among railway authorities about the whereabouts of Jual.
