Bail Plea of Two Accused in Ponzi Case Rejected by HC

THE Orissa High Court's vacation bench of Justice SK Panigrahi on Friday dismissed the bail plea of two directors of M/s Purple Qualves Financial Services Pvt Ltd., who are in custody since May 2022 for alleged misappropriation of funds collected from members of the public under the guise of high-return investments.
Justice Panigrahi said, "Bail, in such circumstances, if granted prematurely, may amount to an erosion of public confidence in judicial oversight of financial crimes."
