Tunnel rescue ops to be over in 2 days, claims T'gana minister

Though rescue teams made little headway in their efforts to save the eight workers trapped in the collapsed Srisailam Left Bank Canal tunnel, irrigation minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Wednesday said a concrete plan of action is ready to bring out the workers within two days.
The eight workers got trapped in the tunnel on Saturday. Rescuers have been working non-stop ever since.
