PM, NETANYAHU TALK GAZA PEACE EFFORTS

PRIME Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on phone, who briefed him on the implementation of the Gaza Peace Plan, as the two leaders reiterated their shared commitment to combating terrorism and strengthening the India-Israel strategic partnership.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the conversation began with both leaders exchanging New Year greetings and wishing “peace and prosperity” to the people of India and Israel. Netanyahu provided Modi with an update on the Gaza Peace Plan amid continuing instability in the region.
