Min promises permanent staff for music varsity

Honorary doctorate conferred upon nine distinguished individuals during the annual convocation of Dr Gangubai Hangal Music and Performing Arts University in Mysuru on Saturday
HIGHER Education Minister Dr M C Sudhakar on Saturday assured that the state government would take steps to pave way for recruitment of teaching staff at the music university.
Speaking during the convocation of Karnataka State Gangubai Hangal Music and Performing Arts University, Sudhakar said though the music varsity was established 17 years ago, no full-time teaching or non-teaching staff have been recruited and we will take necessary steps in this regard.
