Hundreds protest in Hassan dist

The protest against the removal of a student's Janivara (sacred thread) during the CET exams in Dharwad is gaining momentum in Hassan district.
A large number of people from various communities — Brahmin, Vishwakarma, Aaryavysha, Devanga, and micro communities — joined the protest organised by different groups in Arkalgud town on Monday. The demonstration was led by Shivasugna Swamiji of Aremadanahalli Mutt.
