Guv holds constitutional post but works as BJP spokesman: Min

AGRICULTURE Minister N Chaluvarayaswamy alleged that the Governor who is holding a constitutional post is working as a spokesperson for the BJP.
Speaking to media persons here on Friday, Chaluvarayaswamy while reacting to the Governor returning the government ordinance on microfinance said without being influenced by politics, the Governor should have given consent to the ordinance to provide justice to the people of the state.
"Governor is rejecting all the decisions of the government. The haste shown in granting permission for the prosecution of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is not being shown in other matters. Although permission was sought for the prosecution of BJP-JDS leaders in various scams, seeking clarification he has kept the cases pending for years. There may be political influence behind it, but there is nothing other than public interest in the issue of the ordinance against microfinance. In such a case, how right it was to refuse to give approval for the ordinance," he questioned.
