NHAI's additional ₹300 crore expenditure for bypass alignment of NH-766 is delaying the project
THE much-awaited expansion project of Mysuru Airport is hit by another roadblock. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), during the preparation of the detailed project report (DPR) of the bypass alignment of NH-766, has estimated around ₹300 crore additional cost than approximated to complete the work.
The fact was revealed by NHAI officer Rahul Kumar Gupta during the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meeting presided by Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Steel H D Kumaraswamy at ZP hall here on Saturday.
