Tiger suspected to have killed farmer captured

FOREST officials captured a male tiger, aged around 12-13 years, in the Moleyur forest range of Sargur taluk late on Saturday night.
This is suspected to be the big cat that killed farmer Chowda Nayaka two days earlier.
After Nayaka (35) was mauled to death near the Nugu dam at Hale Heggudilu village on Friday, foresters had launched an intense combing operation using thermal drones to trace the tiger.
