Shobha belittling state govt's efforts to restore peace in coast, alleges Mamata

KARNATAKA Cashew Development Corporation chairperson Mamata Gatti on Tuesday slammed Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje for alleging that the state government is targeting the Hindutwa leaders in Dakshina Kannada.
Talking to reporters here, Gatti said the Union Minister instead of supporting the efforts of the state government to re-establish peace and law and order in the district in the wake of recent murders, has allegedly resorted to instigating people. She said that despite hailing from the district and rising to powerful positions like state and union ministers, Karandlaje did not make any efforts to put an end to communal tensions in the district.
