Fund Sanctioned for Development of Ramasamudra Lake in Karkala

Rs 3 cr sanctioned for the project, of which Rs 60 lakh will be earmarked to develop a park
Ramasamudra Lake in Karkala will witness development activities as the required fund has already been sanctioned under the AMRUT 2.0 (Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation) scheme.
With this, the long-pending rejuvenation project of this lake is expected to take off soon.
This lake is a hidden gem that beckons locals and travellers seeking a tranquil escape.
Legacy has it that King Bhairava Rasa was the driving force behind the construction of this lake, which is spread across 42 acres.
