The Congress Party has secured a decisive victory in the first-ever elections to the Kadaba Town Panchayat in Dakshina Kannada, winning 8 out of the 13 wards and emerging as the single largest party.
Reacting to the results, Puttur MLA and senior Congress leader Ashok Rai attributed the victory to the Karnataka government's flagship 'five guarantees,' which he said have had a tangible impact on every household across the state. "This win is not just about politics - it's about trust. The people of Kadaba have shown that they recognize and value a government that delivers on its promises," he said.
