Bank Dacoity Shows That Criminals Do Not Fear The Law In State: DK MP

Dakshina Kannada MP Capt. Brijesh Chowta criticised the State Government over the dacoity at a Cooperative Bank in Kotekar and said it reflects the alarming deterioration of law and order in the state.

Pointing out that the robbery took place while CM Siddaramaiah was in Mangaluru, Chowta raised questions about the safety and security situation in the state. "This was a matter of deep concern and embarrassment, as it underscores the failure of the Congress government in maintaining law and order. Murders, extortion, robberies, and mafia activities are on the rise, and the people of the state are now living in fear," he said.
