Renewed infiltration efforts by ISI in J&K using drones: Intel

|June 09, 2025
PAKISTAN intelligence agency ISI has stepped up efforts to push terrorists into India across the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu & Kashmir by using drone technology, being deployed for precise surveillance and situational assessment before infiltration by rogue elements, the Intelligence Bureau (IB) has alerted the government in its report.
According to sources, the IB has recently submitted its report relating to terrorist movements along the LoC to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
In the report, the IB has flagged the ISI's nefarious design to track the movement and deployment of Indian security forces, identify gaps in border patrol routes and analyse terrain conditions in real-time to assist terrorists in their bid to enter India across the LoC, sources said.
