PATTALI Makkal Katchi (PMK) president Dr Anbumani Ramadoss met party founder Dr S Ramadoss at the latter's residence in Thailapuram near Tindivanam on Thursday morning, amidst a public spat between the father-son duo over party leadership and management. Though the party cadre told TNIE that the meeting between the two comes as a relief as the differences seemed irreconcilable a few days ago, the stand-off may not immediately come to an end.

The meeting lasted for nearly 45 minutes. Anbumani was accompanied only by his younger daughter Sanjuthra.

Later in the day, Thuglak editor S Gurumurthy and former Chennai Corporation mayor Saidai S Duraisamy visited Ramadoss in a meeting which went on for about three hours.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Gurumurthy said, "Ramadoss is my long-time friend. He is fond of me. We were talking after a long time."
