MMC to get ultra modern pharmacology lab for ₹6cr

IN a bid to assist students in their study of drugs and increase their ability to prescribe medicines based on the clinical condition of the patient, a new ultra modern pharmacology lab will be set up at the Madurai Medical College (MMC) at a cost of ₹6 crore.
On the facility, GRH Madurai Resident Medical Officer (RMO) S Saravanan told TNIE that pharmacology is one of the main subjects taught alongside those like pathology and microbiology in the second year of the MBBS curriculum.
