BEING highly self-critical of its lost mass space and for failing to enforce decisions taken at early conferences, the CPM review report that is to come up at the Party Congress, has drawn up a detailed plan to win back its past glory.
The report underscores the need to strengthen party education among cadre.
Compared to the past, opting for parliamentary positions is unfortunately more prevalent in the party of late, said the report. It further pointed out that this trend has a negative fallout on mass and class agitations.
The report also points to a tendency to compromise with power centres and the financially affluent class. This naturally impacts the approach towards the working class.
