Tourist's death at 900 Kandi: Cops arrest resort manager, supervisor

Collector directs Vythiri tahsildar to probe incident & submit report with recommendations
THE manager and supervisor of the resort in 900 Kandi, Meppadi, where a woman tourist died after a tent shed collapsed on Thursday, have been arrested. The arrested are Swachanth K P, 24, the manager of Tentagram Emerald 900 Ventures Resort, and Anurag K K, 26, the supervisor.
On Thursday, Nishma Shihabudheen, 25, died at the Tentagram resort's tent at 900 Kandi. Initially, the Meppadi police had registered a case for unnatural death and later the police added Section 105 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) invoking the offence of culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
