NIA conducts raids in 17 places across 4 states in Muzaffarpur arms haul case

THE anti-terror federal probe agency NIA on Wednesday conducted raids at 17 locations, including 12 in Bihar, in connection with its investigation into a case linked to the recovery of AK-47 assault rifle and ammunition in Muzaffarpur in May this year, officials said.

A senior NIA official said, "Searches were conducted at the premises of 15 accused and suspects at 17 locations in the states of Bihar (12 locations), Nagaland (3), Haryana (1) and J&K (1). The 11 suspects whose premises were searched were linked with those previously arrested and those four accused against whom a chargesheet has already been filed."
