Steps taken to permit over 500 occupants to pay taxes as per land documents, says minister
Revenue Minister K Rajan said that the land issue that had been going on in the Makkimala area of Thavinjal village in Wayanad district for decades has been resolved. About 700 families who reside in the area will benefit from the government order issued in this regard.
The minister informed that steps have been taken to issue title deeds to more than 150 occupants who had migrated to the patta land and to give permission for more than 500 occupants to pay taxes according to their land documents.
