Landslide at Thondayadu bypass construction site claims one life

2 others injured; residents allege construction was progressing without safety precautions
A 30-year-old migrant worker died and two sustained injuries after a landslide occurred at a construction site near Thondayadu bypass in Kozhikode on Sunday.
The deceased, Elajar of West Bengal, was buried under the debris while working on a flat construction site managed by Reigate Company in Nellikode.
The landslide occurred while excavation activities were going on at the site. According to eyewitnesses, all three workers were trapped under the soil.
