THE KOZHIKODE beach is all set for a makeover, with new kiosks and food carts ready to be launched as part of the street food hub project. The food hub, which can accommodate 90 street vendors, will be inaugurated by the end of the month—a week before Onam.
Despite the number of people thronging the beach, it lacked basic facilities, including a place to wash hands after having snacks. However, with the municipal corporation's initiative to launch the modern street food hub, visitors can now enjoy the numerous street food delicacies without compromising cleanliness.
